About Emmanuel

The Emmanuel Church is a Local Ecumenical Partnership between the Church of England and the Methodist Church, working as part of the All Saints Team and the Salford Methodist Circuit. The work of the Emmanuel Centre is viewed as the mission and outreach of the church.

The Emmanuel Centre is open 9:00am - 9:30pm (Monday - Friday). Staffed by a part-time member of staff and group of community volunteers, we aim to provide a friendly and welcoming service to all. The Emmanuel Centre provides a home for a number of community organisations, offering a wide variety of activities for you to get involved in, including; GKR Karate, Youth Clubs and Activities, St John Ambulance and much, much more.

The Emmanuel Centre is managed by the 'Emmanuel Centre Management Company LTD' whose Members and Directors are drawn from both the Church and Local Community.

A Brief History

Emmanuel Church came into existence on the 30th April 2006 when Salford Methodist Community Church and St. Ambrose Church of England signed a Local Ecumenical Partnership agreement. At first the congregation held their Church services in the former Salford Methodist Community Church building. However Emmanuel Church has since moved into its new building on Langworthy Road.
