Boys Brigade wins Bible competition

Congratulation to 53rd Manchester Boys' Brigade Company for their recent win in the Charlton Bible Award. This is a really big achievement as the Manchester wide bible exam is one of the most prestigious awards in the Manchester Battalion of the Boys' Brigade.

The award was presented by Leslie Griffiths, Lord Griffiths of Bury Port, Boys' Brigade President and past President of the Methodist Conference.

As well as the Charlton Bible award, they also came third overall in the Manchester Bible Reading Competition for the Junior Section, with one member come second in her group.

Over 20 young people of 53rd Manchester have been engaging deeply with their faith and worked really hard on what is an intense course.

53rd Manchester Boys' Brigade and Girls Association are part of Emmanuel Church who meet at Emmanuel Church and Centre, Langworthy Road, Salford.
