Messy Church is an all-age church that uses craft and food to help people of all ages to encounter Jesus.
Messy Churches takes place on the Third Saturday of the Month:
Messy Church is currently on a break.
What is Messy Church
Messy Church is an all-age fresh expression of church that offers counter-cultural transformation of family life through families coming together to be, to make, to eat and to celebrate God.
Messy Church is unapologetically a church, not a craft club, that helps people to encounter Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour. Every element of the session is age-appropriate for all members of the family. Messy Church uses hands-on activities to explore Bible Stories, to reflect a God of creativity and to give people a chance to engage with one another.
Messy Church provides a welcoming and safe place for children and adults to thrive. Hospitality is a key component and a practical way to demonstrate the love of God by providing a meal for the families and eating together.
Our Messy Churches is run at Wesley Methodist Church on the third Saturday of every month and is led by a team of passionate volunteers.
If you are interested in coming along, or would like to be part of the volunteer team, email Matt for more information.
