A Potted History
Our original Church was built and opened in 1899. In 1959 we were joined by the Eccles Wesley Church congregation when their building was closed to make way for the M602 motorway. Since then our premises have been considerably enlarged and modernised. In 1999 we celebrated our Centenary with a year of special services and events. In 2002 we welcomed several members of Eccles Immanuel Methodist Church on the closure of their Church.

We have a thriving Junior Church of all age groups, with a crèche, and there are fellowship groups for men and women during the week. Our Church Choir brings a variety of musical contributions to worship.

Full weekly programme of Scouts, Cubs, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and Beavers. Also a Youth Group and a Toddlers’ Group. Premises also used by a number of local organisations as we seek to serve the neighbourhood.

We always look forward to welcoming visitors to our Services.
