Minister - Rev. Rosemary Nunn

A Potted History
Formed by the amalgamation of four Churches - Trinity and Ebenezer in 1964, with Barton joining in 1968. The new building (on the Trinity site) was opened in February 1972. Winton Church joined in 1975. The remaining Sunday School buildings date from 1884 - major refurbishment in 1994. Several Immanuel Church members joined us in 2002 when their building closed.

Refreshments after Service

On the corner of Liverpool Road (A57) and Alexandra Road.

We have links with Overseas Churches. At present, we are actively supporting work going on in Ghana (new Church and School Complex) and in Burkina Faso (agriculture - linked through the Church’s Gardening Club). One of our members visited Ghana - and returned as Queen of the Village!

Sunday Service at 10:30am

Part of the Sunday School building has been sold to the Lancastrian Theatre Organ Trust to house their Museum and Heritage Centre. They have installed a Wurlitzer organ. Regular concerts are now given.
In December 2007, we held our Morning Service in there to celebrate 100 years of that building.
